Why We Organize

Jessica Naab

Organizing is my way of shaping my environment to influence the way I feel. Our brains go through a frequent organization process called “pruning” in which we toss old information and restructure important information so that it is accessible. I believe that if our environment does not match what our mind has shaped itself to be that our environment actually holds us back and keeps us in our older version of ourselves. Conversely, if we create an environment that matches our future aspirations, it will be easier to become that version of ourself. The things we surround ourselves with should only ever propel us forward.

I have a degree in Psychology but I have always had many passions. A part of being able to develop more than one passion is staying organized. I have organized my environment and my schedule to facilitate my passions and I want to help others do the same thing. My time goes so much further because so little of it is wasted trying to get ready to start and activity or move on to a new activity. I want everyone to be able to spend their time developing the life they want, not waste it being overwhelmed by an environment that doesn’t work for the person that they are capable of being.

The people around me have always been happy to have me come and organize their spaces but I didn’t realize I had a business until my husband suggested it. I am so excited to help as many people as possible prepare for their best life; to help people thrive.

Being organized and tidy is just such a good feeling! I have four kiddos, a grandson, and a new puppy. I love to clean and I know how to keep things organized no matter what is going on. My absolute favorite is decluttering!
